Bengal Skipper Manoj Tiwary has claimed that he has regained his fitness and is available for selection in the Indian team for the last two ODIs against England. The 27-year-old Tiwary had injured his back during a Ranji Trophy match recently. The Mr. Unlucky of Indian Cricket – Manoj Tiwary has struggled to find a consistent place in the national team despite sparkling performances. One of the biggest disappointments for Tiwary was sitting on the bench just after scoring a brilliant century under pressure for India against West Indies.

Tiwary was named in the Indian T20I Squad to play against England but had to withdraw because of his injury. The wristy right handed middle order batsman will have a great opportunity to comeback in the Indian team with his competitor Rohit Sharma proving to be very inconsistent. Tiwary has so far played 8 ODIs scoring a fifty and a century at an average of 35.85. His part-time leg breaks had also helped in an Indian win last season.
