Wayamba finished a disappointing Champions League with a massive win of 74 runs against Central Stags at Port Elizabeth. Left arm medium pacer Isuru Udana clinched a hat-trick for Wayamba while Ajantha Mendis took three wickets as well to set up an easy win for Wayamba though the Stags were chasing only 145. The Kiwi side got bundled out for 70 in 15.3 overs.
Earlier, Wayamba batsmen failed yet again to come up with a below par total of 144 for 6 after winning the toss and electing to bat first. The top score of the innings came from their Skipper Jehan Mubarak who made 30 from 26 balls. Michael Mason bowled well for Central Districts taking 2 for 16 in 4 overs.
