The first T20I at Vizag has been abandoned without a single ball bowled due to a heavy downpour. The teams now move to Chennai for the second and final T20I which is to be played on Tuesday.
Update at 6:50 PM: Heavy rain has delayed the start of the 1st T20I between India and New Zealand at the ACA-VDCA Stadium in Visakhapatnam. The match was scheduled to begin at 7:00 PM which is easily ruled out. Well the news from the ground is that the cut-off time for a 5-over contest is 10:15 PM. The groundstaff would need atleast 45 minutes to dry up the ground once the rain stops completely. So we are in for a long delay from witnessing the 1st T20I get underway and also the comeback of Yuvraj Singh.
